As a Child and Family Therapist trained in Infant and Perinatal Mental Health, I have an exciting opportunity to provide you support as you enter into this new phase of life. Whether you are contemplating pregnancy and starting your family or you have a couple children already and want some validation and guidance, we can journey together.
I use a very relationship-focused approach in my work. If your child is the "identified client," parents are incredibly involved in the process. If newly post-partum parents are the "identified client," infants and young children are often involved. I believe we live in a family, so family should be part of our healing. We figure out together how that looks. I also use tools from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy, play therapy, and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) in our work.
